Community Support
& Recognition
elishacare has provided a vital service to the Maroondah (and surrounding) community for the past 10 years. During this time we have assisted more than 300 people. We are self-funded, apart from an occasional community grant and rely upon the generosity of donations. To our knowledge, there is no other organisation providing a holistic service such as ours.
In March 2017, Geoff Marsh was awarded the ‘Paul Harris Fellow’ – Exceptional Community Service Award given by Croydon Rotary Club one of the great humanitarian and educational foundations of the world. This achievement was for the first time, recognised to be handed to a non-Rotarian.
December 2017, The Footmen Foundation was proud to award Geoff Marsh and elishacare the 2017 Clinton White Award.
This award is presented annually by the Footmen Foundation, in memory of their past secretary, committed community worker and solicitor Clinton White, who passed away in 2005.This award is presented to individuals and, or organisations who make a huge difference to the lives of others, in need, in our communities and, provide opportunities for people to flourish, learn, grow, and with guidance, positively contribute to their own well being, while becoming valuable citizens, into the future.
